The Churchill County Museum’s 2016 Fall Lecture Series features STEAM (the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) Tuesday evenings, from 6:00 -7:30 p.m., September 20th through October 18th. Presenters include Mark Owen, Campus Executive Director of Sierra Nevada Journeys; Doug Mishler as Henry Ford, by Nevada Humanities HOTR; Kent Tarver, Owner of Tarver Propellers, Inc.; Michael Mikel aka ‘Danger Ranger’ a co-founder of Burning Man; and Lynda Wiest, Founder and Program Director of Northern NV Girls Math & Tech Program. This series is free to the public and refreshments will be served. All lectures will be held at the Churchill County Museum, 1050 South Maine Street, Fallon, NV.
