Beware the Pogonip

Now on exhibit in the Dodge-Fitz Gallery at CCMA are images by local photographers Paulie Alles, Wes Hodges, and Ginger Urquhart. Pogonip, also known locally as “white death”, is unique to the Western United States, though variants of this unusual phenomenon occur in other parts of the globe as rime or hoarfrost.  It would be difficult to describe the eerie beauty – so we are letting the photographs speak for us. Come see what Paulie, Wes and Ginger have captured with their cameras.
