The Churchill County Museum will hold its annual Fall Lecture Series on Tuesdays, September 25th through October 30th. FREE to the public – refreshments will be served!

Tuesday, September 25th at 6:00 p.m.:  Geoff Schumacher, Senior Director of Content at the Mob Museum, Nevada’s Rocky Relationship with Prohibition

Tuesday, October 2nd at 6:00 p.m.:  Dr. Michael Fischer, Nevada Humanities/Humanities on the Road Presenter, Tonopah’s Soft Drink Parlors and the Rise of Nevada’s Next Gambling Generation

Tuesday, October 9th at 6:00 p.m.:  Guy Clifton, Journalist, Author, and Nevada Division of Tourism Specialist, Dempsey in Nevada

Tuesday, October 16th at 6:00 p.m.:  Dr. Anita Ernst Watson, Author and University of Nevada Professor, Altering Reality: Women in the 1920s

Tuesday, October 23rd at 6:00 p.m.:  Neal Cobb, Author, Historian, Saving and Restoring the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union Fountain

plus Tuesday, October 30th at 6:00 p.m.:  The Roaring Twenties, shown at the Historic Fallon Theatre!

All lectures will be held at the Churchill County Museum, 1050 South Maine Street, Fallon, Nevada.
