Tired of being inside? Follow Beatrice on her Adventures During Quarantine!
The museum is back up and running, but Beatrice knows a lot of folks are still staying cautious and avoiding public places. That’s why she’s helped us put together our Coronavirus After Hours FUNdraiser, a safer way for people to experience the museum while still socially distancing from others. Click the link above or give us a call for more details!
Still not confident coming out? That’s okay! You can still follow her antics on Facebook-Beatrice Badger at the Churchill County Museum, on Instagram-churchillcountymuseum, or on TikTok-beatricebadger.
Who is Beatrice Badger?
Beatrice Badger’s origin is not fully known. The Churchill County Museum received her in 1995 from the Fallon Chamber of Commerce. She sat in the museum until 2007 when as part of the creation of the Children’s Discovery Room we held a contest to name her. Since then, she has become a treasured friend and our mascot. No one has ever seen her move, but if you look you can see her out and about in the museum. When things are misplaced or messes are left, Beatrice is always the first accused. Come see if you can find her, or follow her adventures on Churchill County Museum’s Facebook and Instagram pages and in Beatrice Badger stories!
